LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the top basketball players and is frequently called Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous player. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, and two Olympic medals. James has scored the most points during playoffs and has and has the second highest number of career points and is seventh in assists in his career. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was selected as a member of an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He's played in 10 NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between the years of 2011 and 2018. James made the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the very first NBA player to reach 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. The national media praised James as a possible NBA star. He was a pro-prep player and selected with the top choice from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. As the NBA rookie player in 2004, he established himself quickly as one the top players in the league, receiving the NBA MVP awards for the years 2009 and 2010. James signed a free-agent contract in 2010, after he failed to win championships with Cleveland.
