Mena Alexandera Suvari is an American model actor, fashion designer and actress. She was born on 13 February 1979. When she began her career as a model, she became an actor after having appeared in guest roles on 1990's show on TV, such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She debuted in the film industry in the dramatic film Nowhere. The performances she made were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie brought her to broader attention. She has appeared with co-stars in American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) in addition to playing the main character for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). In 2002, she appeared in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio and 2004's thriller Trauma. She also appeared in the HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The show aired in 2004. The show also included Days of the Dead, The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh and the film version of The Garden of Eden. She has been an activist as well as a longtime supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation.
