The track from his album "Heart on Ice" was a big success via YouTube as well as TikTok. It reached the top 25 spot on Billboard Hot 100. "Wave's debut album, Ghetto Gospel (2019) was a top 10 album on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape was released PTSD on June 14 in 2019, featuring the hit song "Heart on Ice". The track became a viral hit through YouTube and TikTok, peaking at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. "S" (featuring ATR son Son) made it to number 12 on the Hot 100. It became the song with the highest chart position. 14. On August 11, 2020, Wave was included on XXL's 2020 Freshman Class. Wave made an appearance in July of 2020, revealing that he was in the process of working on his third studio album. This was originally planned for August 27, 2020. The singer revealed the tracklist for his album SoulFly on March 6 2021. The album also contained songs "Street Runner", and "Tombstone" which was his highest-charting hit song and peaked at the top of the charts at 11 on the Hot 100.
